Critical LV Infrastructure Replacement for Media Broadcaster Case Study

Averys was appointed as main contractor to deliver the replacement of critical LV panels serving essential broadcasting equipment for a major media company. Operating within a highly sensitive, live environment, the project demanded zero loss of supply and absolute certainty of delivery throughout.

Working under a design‑and‑build appointment, Avery took full responsibility from the earliest design stages through to final installation and commissioning. Our scope included the development of detailed designs, risk assessments and method statements, ensuring the new LV infrastructure met current performance, resilience and operational requirements.

A central challenge of the project was the planning and phasing of critical power migration, requiring meticulous sequencing to maintain continuous operation. Temporary supplies were installed to feed critical services during panel replacement, allowing live broadcasting equipment to always remain fully operational.
